The browser reports an event or capability it directly exposed during the test. This describes browser-visible evidence, not complete hardware certification.
How results work
Know what each result actually means
TestingPhone separates browser signals from human judgment so an observation is not presented as stronger evidence than it is.
User-confirmed
You select the result after judging what appeared, sounded, or happened. The browser records your observation but does not make that judgment for you.
Manual check
The test provides a structured physical inspection step. The observation remains manual and may require professional follow-up when certainty matters.
Unsupported
The browser, permission state, connection, or operating system cannot provide the needed capability. Unsupported does not mean failed or defective.
Reading the inspection summary
Passed means the relevant browser observation or user-confirmed check was completed without a reported concern. Inconclusive or potential issue means something deserves another check; it is not an automatic hardware diagnosis. Unsupported identifies an access limitation rather than a defect.
